You Captivated Me
My myocardium contracts faster
And no time for repolarization
I don’t need a calcium blocker
To ease these abnormal contractions
It is not palpitations
Nor a worsening heart condition
I’m aware of these manifestations
It doesn’t require any interventions
I don’t need more oxygen consumption
Nor sodium or water excretion
I refuse ordered medication
Because of one reason
You captivated me
And it is not an illusion
Or a part of hallucination
